Before Arriving to Australia

DEFERRAL

If you have a booking and are not able to arrive in Australia because of COVID-19, you can defer your contract to the next semester. The same terms of the original booking will carry forward to the new semester booking, including the type of room you booked and even the same weekly rent. Please note for deferrals to Semester 2, 2022, our weekly rental rates are subject to change.

CANCELLATION

If you need to cancel your booking with us for one of the reasons detailed below, all you need to do is email us no less than 14 days before your contract start date and they will cancel your booking and provide a full refund of any fees paid.

FLIGHT CANCELLATION/TRAVEL BAN

If your scheduled flight is cancelled and an alternate flight is not available, or if there is a travel ban preventing travel from your country of origin or in Australia preventing you from arrival.

VISA DENIED

If your visa application is rejected or the visa centre remains closed in your respective country.

INTAKE DELAY OF UNIVERSITY/EDUCATION PROVIDER

If the start date of your course has been postponed to a later date or semester, or the university does not offer face-to-face learning.

No Visa, No Pay - For unrelated COVID-related reasons as listed above, students who do not get their visa to Australia for study purposes will get their deposits refunded. This applies to all properties.

Onshore in Australia

All confirmed bookings (holding deposit paid) generally have 48 hours cooling off period.

VIC - All confirmed bookings will have their deposits refunded if the student decides to cancel their booking before signing their contract.

QLD, SA, NSW - All confirmed bookings will have their deposits held if the student decides to cancel their booking before signing the contract. However, if they can find a student to replace and maintain the full tenancy term and its conditions, they can arrange for a refund of the holding deposit. Management will not

Early Termination

Early termination of an existing lease will observe the Residential Tenancy Bond Authority (RTBA) laws. State laws apply.
