Quest University Announces $100,000 Scholarship Fund By The Rosalie and Joseph Segal Family Foundation For Quest University

Quest University is pleased to announce with gratitude that The Rosalie and Joseph Segal Family Foundation has established a $100,000 scholarship fund. The scholarship will provide funding for new students, who could not otherwise afford to attend and experience Quest.

“We are delighted to provide this significant gift to Quest University and its future students,” says Joseph Segal. “We chose to partner with Quest University at this time because we are confident in the school’s new direction and are thrilled to help enable more students to have the opportunity to experience this distinctive education model.”

Canada’s first independent, not-for-profit, secular liberal arts and science university, Quest was founded on an interdisciplinary approach to university education. Offering one degree, a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, students study in a block format program, free of traditional departments and majors. It has become recognized across Canada and the world, for its innovative model, and is highly sought after by students wanting an education and real-world skills, and not just a degree.

“We are so thrilled with this generous gift from The Rosalie and Joseph Segal Family Foundation,” says George Iwama, President of Quest University. “Equally important, the scholarship is designed for our team to find the best and most deserving students, and bring them to Quest.”

Iwama adds, “This partnership reflects the renewal of Quest University, and recognizes the great value that Quest has in serving Canada, the Sea to Sky Corridor and the local community.”
