This Scholarship was established to attract commencing international students enrolling in an undergraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney.

Benefit

Number of Recipients

• Up to eighty (80) new Recipients will be awarded the Scholarship in 2023 and 2024.

Benefit/s to Recipient

• UTS will pay for 20% of each Recipient’s UTS tuition fees for the course enrolled in for the duration of the Scholarship as defined in clause 4.
• The Scholarship cannot be transferred, deferred or redeemed for cash.

Payment of Benefit/s

• The tuition fee contributions will be made directly to the Recipient’s UTS fees account each session for the duration of the Scholarship as defined in clause 4.
• The tuition fee contributions are subject to the Recipientsatisfying ongoing eligibility criteria as
  defined in clause 8

Persyaratan

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

• Remain an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia); and
• Be a citizen from Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Macau SAR, South Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia or a country in the Latin America, Africa, South Asia, or South East Asia region; and
• Commence full-time studies and on campus at UTS in 2023 or 2024; and
• Meet UTS admission criteria for the selected UTS undergraduate degree course; and
• Must have completed an Australian Year 12 or UTS recognized high school studies comparable to an Australian Year 12, and be admitted to UTS based on this qualification; and
• Must not:
  • be studying a UTS online degree or distance mode degree; or
  • be based in Australia (must be based offshore) prior to commencement at UTS; or
  • be a recipient of other UTS International scholarships or grants or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program for the duration of this Scholarship; and be a government sponsored student.

Selection process

Acceptance of the selected UTS undergraduate coursework program (including payment of deposit required).

How to apply

UTS International will automatically consider all commencing international students meeting the eligibility criteria and applying for an undergraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney for this Scholarship.  There is no separate scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the coursework application.

Offers will be authorized by UTS International.
