The MBA with an International Business concentration enables the student to build upon the solid foundation from the core coursework in the MBA program and provides students with the knowledge and capability necessary to function effectively as managers in today’s competitive and globalized economies. The courses in the IB concentration will give the students an opportunity to learn about the functioning of the international economy and how multinational firms of all s, both governmental and non-governmental working in a variety of cultural and political/legal environments, interact with it. The courses will also allow students to learn about international trade theories and agreements, global financial markets and the financial skills required for effective management of companies engaged in international business with an emphasis on international financial management.

AUS programs are accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education and the institution is also recognized as an official IATA (International Aviation Transportation Association) Authorized Training Center and as an Apple Authorized Training Center for Education.
AUS has developed an academic partnership with Tiffin University (TU) in Ohio, United States of America, which allows students to obtain a dual degree in various specializations; students can therefore take on an extra volume of courses and credits, but graduate with two degrees at the same time.

In order to continue providing its students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), the American University in Switzerland (AUS) is launching a new initiative in which its students will be enrolled in the Dual Degree Program (DDP) with Tiffin University (TU) located in Tiffin, Ohio, and graduate with degrees from AUS and TU. Tiffin is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), one of the six US regional accreditation agencies. Most governments around the world recognize the HLC accreditation and thus they will recognize the AUS dual degrees. |
