The Massage Therapy program at Centennial College provides you with both fundamental and advanced massage therapy skills needed to be a successful massage therapist. Recognized as a distinctive and rigorous program within the School of Community and Health Studies, this program offers a balanced combination of theory and practical application (classroom, lab experience as well as on-site public clinic and off-site outreach placements).
The Massage Therapy program focuses on teaching you the proper assessment tools and techniques when dealing with a wide variety of pathologies that involve lymph, muscle, fascia, and joints of the body as well as a wellness focus that maintains physical health, function, and mobility.
Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy - Compressed
The Massage Therapy - Compressed program allows you to obtain an advanced diploma in two years by attending summer semesters, with no semester breaks. This delivery of the Massage Therapy - Compressed program stills offer an identical curriculum to the traditional format of the offering, which is completed in three years.
There is an emphasis on the assessment and hands-on treatment of the muscles, fascia and joints of the body to improve or maintain physical health, function and mobility.
