The Institut Paul Bocuse (IPB) is founded by the great French Chef Paul Bocuse in 1990. Chef Paul Bocuse has a 3 Michelin Star restaurant (the highest award in Restaurant industry) since 1965 & many other restaurants, and is world-wide known as the Pope of Gastronomy. He was also the teachers of many very successful young chefs who then founded their own Michelin Star restaurants all over the world. Chef Paul Bocuse was awarded Chef of the Century award and was also crowned MeilleurOuvrier de France (the most prestigious craftsmanship award in France, awarded every 4 years).
He then founded Bocuse d’Or in 1987 (www.bocusedor.com) which is seen as the most prestigious chef competition in the world. The institute then welcome Mr. Gerard Pelison in 1998, the co-founder of Accor hotel group, one of the biggest hotel group in the world with famous hotels such as Raffles, Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, etc (www.accorhotels.group). Together, they have a mission to transmit technique and managerial knowledge with the highest standards in order to prepare our students for the best careers in the world.
The Institut Paul Bocuse offers the following programs:
Bachelor of Culinary Arts Management, Bachelor of Hospitality Management, and Bachelor of Food Service Management. Students are then able to continue their study to Master and PhD level at the Institut.
Our Master degree programs are Master in Culinary Leadership and Innovation (in partnership with Haaga-Helia University, Finland) and MSc International Hospitality Management (in association with EmLyon Business School).

The Institut Paul Bocuse is located in Lyon which is the Gourmet Capital of the world. It is a beautiful student city located just 2 hours train ride away from Paris and it is the third biggest city in France. (www.en.lyon-france.com). Students have the options to stay in on campus accommodation which is a short distance from the campus or in the city area.
