We opened our doors with just 116 students in 1963 and offered courses in language, commerce and technology. Six decades on, we have never stopped preparing our learners for the challenges of their time.  We remain unwavering in our commitment to give our learners an enriching learning journey.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) now offers 36 full-time diploma courses and five common entry programmes through nine academic schools and has a full-time student population of more than 13,000. Our alumni community of over 170,000 is ever growing, with many making a difference across a broad spectrum of industries both locally and overseas. 

We also support Continuing Education and Training (CET) through NP’s CET Academy, which offers a wide range of part-time programmes and short courses. We work closely with esteemed industry partners to curate programmes focusing on emerging skills, develop talent pipeline for the industries, and help adult learners stay agile in today’s ever-evolving global economy.

The first-ever omni-channel Johnson & Johnson Experience Centre (JJEC) equipped with retail technologies such as the POP6 cloud-based point-of-purchase execution solution and a live-streaming set-up, was launched on the NP campus.

The integrated lifestyle store doubling up as a training facility for students from NP’s School of Business & Accountancy, was officially opened by Ms Low Yen Ling, Minister of State for Trade & Industry, and Culture, Community & Youth.
