Founded in 1916, SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of
Technology) is the Canada’s first publicly funded institute of technology and
the largest polytechnic post-secondary institution in Calgary, Canada. Located
in Alberta province, Calgary is the top 4 most livable city in the world with
nearly 1.5 million people living in. It is the fourth largest and one of the
fastest growing urban cities in Canada as well as having the 2nd highest number
of corporate head offices in Canada.
Our education is applied, which means hands-on learning, a
curriculum based on relevance to industry, and work experience through co-ops,
practicums, and internships, with smaller and more personalized classroom
settings. The school itself is one of the most diverse colleges in Canada, with
more than 16,000 fulltime students and over 2500 international students
originated from over 163 countries. SAIT offers 1-year certificate programs,
2-year diploma and applied degree programs, and 4-year baccalaureate degrees –
all eligible for PGWP. Quality of education is our focus, with more than 11.000
