The UniLink Bridging Program (Design) prepares students to meet the entry requirements of the Diploma of Design (UniLink).
A UniLink Bridging Program (Design) will help you develop early foundational design skills required across design fields, including graphic design, video and animation, and advertising.
You’ll develop the confidence and ability to communicate in a university setting, particularly on design topics.
If you progress to further tertiary study, a broader range of opportunities will open up from interior design, multimedia design, consultancy, publishing, video game development and much more.
Career opportunities
This program enables students to gain the initial skills toward key design areas such as communication design (graphic design), multimedia design (digital media design), interior design and industrial design. Further tertiary studies in design specialisations will open up a range of career opportunities in advertising, animation, design consultancy, graphic design, packaging design, publishing, design of interiors and public spaces, media and entertainment studios, video games development, web and interactive digital design.
Aims and objectives
The UniLink Bridging Program (Design) aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills and capabilities required to meet the entry requirements to progress to a UniLink diploma. The program is designed for international students whose primary language is not English and who have completed an Australian Year 12 equivalent but have not met the ATAR or grade required to enter the UniLink course.
