As a university located in the city known as the Tournament Capital of Canada, TRU has thriving sports programs and students have access to amazing fitness facilities like the Tournament Capital Centre (TCC), Olympic-length swimming pool and a FIFA-certified artificial turf field.
TRU has always had a strong international contingent of student athletes. Countries represented include athletes from England, Spain, Australia, Netherlands, Portugal and Trinidad.
