If you’re passionate about making a positive impact in your community and beyond, consider a career in public service. This exciting, interdisciplinary major offered in partnership with Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs will prepare you for a range of job options, from local government to international affairs. A bachelor’s degree in public service also can prepare you for graduate work in public policy and management.
The CGS public service program allows you to specialize in one of two tracks:
Public administration
Non-profit management
Additionally, you can develop your own concentration with the assistance of your academic advisor.
A public service minor is also available.
