Cooling Off Period
There is 5 days cooling off period. If a student is booking 5 days prior to the move in date then cooling off period does not apply. The student would have to inform immediately to cancel the booking in this case or else the deposit amount can not be refunded.
No Visa No Pay
The property has a No Visa No Pay policy. The student would have to provide proper document proof (either a Visa rejection letter or a letter from the University which states that the student did not secure a VISA and will not be able to study at the University).
No Place No Pay
The property has a No Place No Pay policy, but only for 1 year graduate students who did not clear the entrance exam and could not secure a place in the University. The student would have to provide proper document proof.

What do our different room types mean?
They have many types of rooms to choose from, and the rooms available depend on where you’re studying and which property you’re interested in.
Each accommodation building has specific room types.
Pick a non-ensuite room, and you’ll have a private bedroom but share your bathroom and kitchen with flatmates.
If you’d prefer a little more privacy, their ensuite rooms feature private bedrooms and bathrooms, but you’ll still share your kitchen with flatmates.
For complete privacy, opt for a studio or flat – these individual flats come with their bathroom and kitchen, which you won’t have to share with anyone else.
They also have accessible rooms available for students with accessibility needs.
The choice is yours!
Do I need to pay a deposit?
There’s no damage deposit, just a simple booking fee when you sign your contract. This then acts as part of your rent payment.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes! Instalments are an easy way to spread the cost of your student accommodation over the year in bite-size chunks, meaning you know where you are with your money. Their instalment plan runs alongside your student loan payments, and the good news is they won’t increase the rent for this.
Simply give them the details of a UK-based guarantor (usually your parents) who can guarantee they’ll cover your rent if you can’t (for whatever reason), and they’ll do the rest.
International students typically need to pay the full amount for their stay upfront. If this might be a problem, please get in touch.
What should I bring with me?
Their advice is to pack light and add to your student essentials as you go. There are the obvious things to pack, like your clothes, books, laptop, and favourite soft toy (we won’t tell anyone!). You’ll also need bedding (single or double depending on your accommodation), towels and stuff for the kitchen such as pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc… oh and labels for your food!
Lots of what you require are available to buy from a wide range of shops where their accommodations are.
What about post and parcels?
Everything is delivered to your student accommodation reception. A list is published each day, so you can see if we’ve received that all-important ASOS parcel – simply pop down to reception with some photo ID to collect it. Any letters will be delivered under your door on the same day as we receive them.
If you want to deliver some new items such as bedding and kitchen items, they’re happy to accept these once you’ve signed your contract. They’ll keep them safe until you arrive, andthey’ll even leave them in your room for when you arrive.
How much does it cost to use the laundry facilities at my property?
The cost to use the laundry facilities in your accommodation may differ slightly. Pricing information will be available once you’ve checked into your property.
Typically, a wash will cost £2.50 and a dry will cost £1. You’ll need to buy your own detergent as well.
What if something breaks?
Nothing lasts forever and accidents do happen. If something is past its best, let them know at your accommodation reception and one of our friendly maintenance team will come and make repairs or replace it. You’ll only ever be charged for this if the damage is clearly through misuse.
Do I have contents insurance?
Yes! They’ve arranged contents insurance for you at no extra cost through Endsleigh Insurance. You’ll be covered against fire, flood, theft, and accidental damage to the personal belongings inside your room (excluding mobile phones).
