President University (PresUniv) collaboration with the Data Science School Algorithm, held a webinar entitled "Industry 4.0 and Future Works", Monday (28/6). This webinar discussed the importance of implementing data science in the world of work in the future. This material was delivered by Nayoko Wicaksono, Managing Director of Algorithms. This webinar was guided by Genta Sahuri, S.KOM., M.KOM, Lecturer of Information System, PresUniv.
Nayoko explained the importance of mastering data science for job prospects in Indonesia. “Many companies in Indonesia are now starting to implement data science in their systems. Starting from the implementation of data analysis, data visualization, and machine learning," he said. He also explained that the high demand for the data science aspect could not be separated from the numerous new start-ups in Indonesia.
Nayoko and Genta were agreed, students are expected to master programming languages such as R or Python. The goal is that daily work in the world of work will be more helpful and productive. It will provide advantages, especially in solving problems with more variables and saving the processing time.
