Chulalongkorn University

Chulalongkorn University has taken a leading role in implementing interactive collaboration with the international community. In order to further develop academic cooperation between Thailand and foreign countries, the University has established the “Graduate Scholarship Programme for ASEAN or Non-ASEAN countries” to provide financial assistance to international students who wish to pursue their higher graduate studies at Chulalongkorn University.

Benefit

1. The complete tuition fee of the scholarship holder will be covered.
2. Housing accommodation will be provided.
3. A monthly stipend of 16,000 Baht will be given to the students.
4. The scholarship will also cover the round air ticket.

Persyaratan

1. The candidate must be an international graduate student.
2. The candidate can be from ASEAN as well as from Non-ASEAN countries.
3. The candidates who are the faculty members, researchers, and academic staff are highly appreciated applying.
4. The candidates must be fresh students and have not spent more than one semester at Chulalongkorn University as higher graduate students.
5. The former degree must relate to the applicant’s current selected program for a scholarship.
6. The candidates must have acquired a grade not less than 2.75 for their undergraduate and not less than 3.25 for their graduate studies.
7. The candidate must not be more than 40 years of age.
8. The candidate must be proficient in English and must have undergone the English proficiency test. (TOEFL score not less than 500 and IELTS not less than 5.0).
9. The candidates must be in good health.
10. The candidates are not allowed to do employment in the country during the time of their degree.

How to apply:

1. Fill out the scholarship application form 2023. Download here.
2. The candidates have to send the application with the relevant documents directly to the faculty or program of their choice before the deadline.
3. Each faulty has its own deadline so make sure to follow the right deadline.

Documents required:

1. A completed application.
2. A 1-inch photograph attached.
3. A curriculum vitae.
4. Academic transcript issued by the last academic institution.
5. A certificate of graduation, if available.
6. A photocopy of the passport.
7. Two recommendation letters from the Head, the Director or the Dean of the institution, or from the candidate’s superiors.
8. A medical certificate from the hospital of the home country.
