 We have two schemes, each offering the same package of support: 

Anne McLaren fellowships are aimed at outstanding female postdoctoral researchers in science, technology, engineering and medicine, who are at the early stage of their academic careers and wish to establish a research career in the UK 

Nottingham Research fellowships are aimed at outstanding postdoctoral researchers who are at the early stage of their academic careers from all academic disciplines represented at the university.

Both schemes are open to external – including international – and internal candidates. 

This research fellowship encourages people from all backgrounds and career paths to be a part of the vast educational research network and pull in your thoughts to bring changes in the UK and worldwide. It will work as a treasured addition to your career journey when you complete your research under the privileged research standards and move towards a professional research career.

Benefit

1. Three years’ independent research funding, covering salary costs at c. £43,155 to £54,421.
2. The link to a permanent academic post, subject to performance.
3. Additional funding for research expenses totalling £75,000.
4. Childcare costs of up to £15,000.
5. Access to mentoring, career development and networking with the wider fellowship community.

Persyaratan

Eligibility:

• Applicants must possess PhD degree or equivalent.
• Applicants can be from any discipline across the university.
• Not having more than 8 years of working experience after a post-doctoral degree.
• An outstanding track record of research in their related discipline throughout their career.
• Have high-quality publications, research funding, and awards.
• Should have evidence of a good reputation at national and international levels.
• Able to lead and inspire others within a team.
• Able to act as an ambassador in their research area.
