Established in 1967, Fleming College offers a truly Canadian experience, both in and out of the classroom. Campuses are located in the historic cities of Peterborough, Lindsay and Haliburton, which are popular Ontario tourist destinations. It is one of Ontario’s earliest applied arts and technology institutions, named after Sir Sandford Fleming, a Scottish-born engineer and inventor who designed Canada’s first transcontinental railway and invented Universal Standard Time, the system still used to tell the time around the world today.

The college offers a comprehensive portfolio of vocational training programs, from apprenticeships to postgraduate programs. Courses range from accounting, aquaculture and wireless information networking through to urban forestry, visual art and welding, and more.
