Objectives
This area of Concentration Studies trains and equips students to approach and synthesise knowledge from multiple perspectives informed by various disciplines, so that they will have the intellectual acumen and skills required for a range of academic fields. Students can apply a variety of methodologies in approaching and critically analysing cultural processes and issues in the local and global contexts. Distinctive features include:

Multi-disciplinary perspectives from theory and literature to art, media and popular culture;
Identifying and analysing the human, artistic and social values of diverse cultural practices, particularly in relation to challenges and conflicts in contemporary issues or debates.

With their acumen, cultural sensitivity, strong analytic and language skills, graduates will be able to work in the field of arts and culture, publishing, marketing, advertising, media, journalism, public relations, event management, education and research.
