JMC's Bachelor of Creative Arts (Acting) provides an exciting and immersive way of learning the principles of acting for film, theatre, television and a variety of other performance media, giving you the diverse range of skills and the confidence to launch a sustainable career in Acting.
JMC's Acting program will prepare you to pursue a professional and sustainable career in performance - preparing not only the actor's knowledge and skill base but also the actor's process to meet the specific needs and distinctions of the ever-changing performance arts industry.
The program has been developed by industry-leading experts as an address to an evolving and constantly diversifying performing arts sector within Australia’s creative landscape, taking a contemporary and career driven approach to higher education in performance.
The systems taught at JMC involve unique and dynamic processes of learning that will equip you with a robust and logical pathway to producing theatrical and cinematic performance. JMC Academy is committed to nurturing versatility and flexibility for their students, enabling them to move with confidence between a variety of performance media, locations and contexts.

Duration:
JMC Academy’s standard Bachelor degree can be completed in 3 years. However, you can graduate in only 2 years if you enrol in JMC’s accelerated Bachelor degree program. Part-time study is also available to domestic students.

JMC has 3 campuses located in Australia. Our campuses are all located in the city center (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane). It has been running since 1982 and it has over 2.200 students across campuses. We have a strong network of international institutions and industry connections that enable us to ensure our courses, technology and learning spaces are among the best on offer.
We offer bachelor programs, Master of Creative Industry, Diploma, and Certificate III in Screen and Media.
At JMC Academy, you will have many integration projects which connect you to all students from different courses (collaboration). For example: 3D Animation student will work closely with Games Development and Digital Design students in making mobile applications, or animation projects or games application. In this point, Entertainment Business Management students will collaborate in marketing the apps.
