Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) is Singapore’s pioneer arts education institution, well-known for grooming diverse artistic talent. Through research-based practice and experiential learning, NAFA nurtures creative talent who lead at the forefront of art, design and performance practices in Singapore and abroad. The Academy offers a comprehensive range of full-time diploma courses and delivers degree programmes in partnership with reputable universities from Singapore and the UK.

Programmes are structured under three schools: the School of Art and Design (fine art, design and media, fashion studies and 3D design), the School of Music (classical Western and Chinese music studies) and the School of Arts Management, Dance and Theatre. Since 1999, NAFA has received polytechnic-level funding from the Ministry of Education, Singapore. In 2011, the Academy became the first comprehensive arts education institution to receive the 4-year EduTrust certification.

2. We offer foundation, diploma and degree courses, through our three faculties and with overseas partner universities.

5. We offer bachelor with honours degree courses, in partnership with some of the most established arts universities in the United Kingdom.
6. 623 diploma graduates from NAFA were surveyed from 1 November 2022 to 27 January 2023, and the overall response rate was 76.0%.
7. Over the years, we have had the privilege of nurturing numerous award-winning artists, including 13 Cultural Medallion winners and 14 Young Artist Award winners. We also honour and celebrate the achievements of our alumni and graduating students.
