Nursing is one of the most highly regarded and rewarding professions in the healthcare industry. Nurses provide patient-centered care in hospitals, doctor's offices, schools, and other settings.
Students who meet the required academic criteria will be directly admitted into the Nursing Pre-Licensure program upon admission to Walsh University. Once admitted to the program, students must maintain a C or better in all Nursing courses.
All Walsh University students participate in labs and have clinical experience in nearly every nursing course, which helps them apply what they learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Students have supervised clinical experience in areas like medical-surgical, obstetrics, mental health, pediatrics, critical care nursing, and community health nursing. In addition, Walsh provides students access to a variety of clinical, research, and community service experiences through our many community partnerships with local hospitals and medical centers.
