Cooling Off Period

There is no cooling-off period. The Residential Tenancy Agreement you enter is a legally binding contract. The Landlord reserves the right to seek recovery of these monies should you fail to meet your legal requirements.

Early termination by students

When considering the premature termination of your Residential Tenancy Agreement, it is your responsibility to:

1. Continue to pay all rent charges until a new resident can be secured orthe Residential Tenancy Agreement ends whichever comes first.

2. Pay all associated costs including applicable advertising and reletting fees as set out in your Residential Tenancy Agreement.

3. In all cases, a departure cleaning fee applies.

The early termination fees cost will be 2 weeks rent plus GST, $165 Advertising fee and Rent paid until the apartment is leased again.

Delayed Arrivals & travel restrictions

If you are unable to arrive on your selected date due to flight cancellations, the property may be able to moveyour lease commencement date. Depending on the length of delay, there may be some financial penalties incurred. This is handled on a case-by-case basis. If your flight is delayed, please email the property directly.

Other cancellation policies

Cancellation due to:

1. Providing false or misleading information during your application or booking process

2. Failure to pay your bond or rent in advance

3. Failure to sign the Residential Tenancy Agreement when required

4. A change of mind

will result in a monetary penalty. This may include forfeiting some or all of your advance rental

payment and/or bond payment and is negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
